Public Council of Amur GPP and the Amur GCC projects sums up its work over last 5 years

The final meeting of the Public Council of Amur GPP and Amur GCC projects in 2021 was held on December 20 in Svobodny. The key topic was the summing up the results of joint operations over five years and awarding the most active permanent members and partners of the Council.
The starting point of the activities of the Public Council of Amur GPP and Amur GCC projects was December 2016.
Over the past years, the passionate residents of the town of Svobodny and Svobodnensky district have held 20 meetings, 15 visits following the appeals from people, dozens of social, environmental and cultural projects have been implemented with the support of the authorities together with companies implementing the Amur GPP and Amur GCC projects.
The most notable projects are in the field of housing and communal services and landscaping: EkoSvoboda (EcoFreedom), Clean Games and Ecotrail, and in the field of interethnic relations: the Svobodny. Vse Svoi (Everyone Is Welcome), and under the grant support for local initiatives: interactive lectures for schoolchildren Safety and Me, Formula of Good Deeds.
Employees of the companies that build the plants actively participate in charitable activities.
The Council was congratulated by the Governor of the Amur Region Vasily Orlov, who was also a participant in the very first meetings of the Public Council of Amur GPP and the Amur GCC projects in his video message.
Importance of the Public Council of Amur GPP and the Amur GCC projects was also noted by the head of the town of Svobodny Vladimir Konstantinov, and he talked about the key projects for the town implemented jointly with the companies involved in the plant construction. Among them are the creation of new public, educational, cultural, sports and business spaces, and re-construction of the existing ones.
Andrey Belousov, Deputy General Director of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC, and Alexey Vereshchagin, General Director of Amur Gas Chemical Complex LLC, thanked the Public Council members and active public members for their active position and great help in resolving topical issues.
Twelve of the most active members of the Public Council of Amur GPP and the Amur GCC projects who have been working in it since its foundation were presented with letters of gratitude signed by the heads of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (investor, owner and operator of Amur GPP), Amur Gas Chemical Complex LLC, NIPIGAS JSC (manages Amur GPP and the Amur GCC construction).
"I like our Council for its informal approach, for its willingness to invest personal time and effort in resolving urgent issues, for great human responsiveness," said Galina Tkachenko, chair of the Public Council of Amur GPP and the Amur GCC projects.
