Preparation for installation of repair equipment is underway in the premises of the mechanical repair shop of the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP).
It is planned to install more than four hundred pieces of equipment, in particular, vertical milling, turning, screw-cutting, gear spline milling, drilling and grinding machines, plasma cutting machines, and argon arc welding system will be placed there.
The plant will have a forging and thermal section, guillotine shears, paint chamber and other modern equipment for carrying out direct repair.
Key steel structures and lifting mechanisms have already been installed in the mechanical repair shop building, thermal circuit of the building has been closed, and the heating system has been launched.
Installation of the water-type fire extinguishing system, application of fire protection to steel structures and installation of floor screeds are underway.
Sandwich panel partitions are being installed and the finishing of the premises are in progress.
Mechanical repair workshop is intended for maintenance, repair and diagnostics of the process equipment, pipelines and power equipment of the Amur Gas Processing Plant.
It will have stationary workspaces for 269 people.
The shop covers 18,000 square meters, which is comparable to the area of two football fields. The shop is 18 meters tall, like a six-storey house. The area is divided into four functional blocks connected with a through internal passage.
