Pumping station of the Amur Gas Processing Plant has successfully passed the tests and is ready for operation. Individual tests of critical utilities, infrastructure, and offsites like the pumps for household, drinking, fire-fighting and industrial water of the onsite pumping station, have been completed.
Fire water supply headers of the fire hydrants, stationary fire-suppression systems and sprinkler rings of the production section of start-up complex 1 (process line 1 and 2) were filled and tested.
Two fire-fighting tanks with 10 thousand cubic meters each were filled. Fire protection will be ensured by four pumps of 830 cubic meters of water per hour and two of 500 cubic meters per hour. Total capacity of the fire-fighting water pipeline is about 6,000 cubic meters of water.
Seven wells (3 temporary and 4 permanent ones), 5 water pipes, including those for reused water, are in place according to the design in order to provide the site with water.
Amur Gas Processing Plant provides for a full-cycle water treatment system. Domestic and industrial wastewater generated during operation will be sent to the treatment and disinfection facilities. The treatment facilities are designed for continuous round-the-clock operation in a semi-automatic mode. Potable water treated after use will be used for process needs like the line flushing and fire protection.
Plant treatment facilities comply with the Russian and international environmental standards. Water-after several treatment cycles-is suitable for water reservoirs of fisheries.
