Commissioning tests of unit for dehydration and removal of impurities commence on Amur GPP process line 3

The unit for dehydration and removal of impurities on the Amur GPP process line 3 is undergoing its commissioning.
This unit removes moisture, methanol, and other impurities from the feed gas supplied to the plant for further low-temperature gas separation into fractions.
Adsorbers filled with Russian made zeolite, a special absorbent, treats the gas flow which enters the plant via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
The process has its feature: a small part of gas already treated at the unit is used to regenerate and dehydrate the adsorbent, which had been previously contaminated during the removal of moisture and impurities from the feed gas.
Commissioning is underway on the fired heater that serves to heat this gas to the temperature of 250 degrees necessary for the zeolite regeneration process.
Installation, tests and re-assembly of the process pipelines have been completed, the static equipment has been installed, laying of the cable lines and additional leak tests have been completed, individual testing of equipment is complete, loop and functional tests have been completed, testing of the fire extinguishing systems has been completed on the unit for dehydration and removal of impurities on process line 3.
