Winners of regional phase of professional skills championship «Professionals» to have internship at Amur GPP

Much was done by Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP) to support the regional phase of professional skills championship «Professionals» in the Amur region. The closing ceremony has been held at the Amur Regional Philharmonic in the city of Blagoveshchensk where the winners were announced.


Participants who have won prizes in two specialized disciplines will have their internship at the Amur GPP. The following winners took prizes in the Laboratory Chemical Analysis discipline: Yaroslava Kamyshnaya, student of the Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University, won the 1st place; Maria Zorina, student of school No. 9 in Svobodny, won the 2nd place and Olga Belozubova, student of school No. 1 in Blagoveshchensk, won the 3rd place. As for the Oil and Gas Refining discipline: Vladislav Zubakov took the 1st place, Yegor Gromov took the 2nd place and Mikhail Tyukavin took the 3rd place. All these winners are students of the Amur Technical School in Svobodny. Sergey Marshansky, Deputy Director General of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, presented the Internship Certificates to the winners.

«Communication with enterprises is very important at the stage of training and mastering professional skills. The fact that the students will be able to come to the plant and learn their skills right here motivates them incredibly. From our side, it is important for us as teachers to be in touch with enterprises in order to understand the customers» requirements. This helps us to improve the quality of education," said Svetlana Yakovleva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science of the Amur region.


The regional phase of the professional skills championship «Professionals» was being held from April 24 until 28 in the Amur region. It was attended by some 200 students of colleges and universities who competed in 37 disciplines. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Amur region is organizer of the championship in the region.
