Rural school in Svobodnensky district opens new clubs, Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk offers support

New Yuny Khimik (Young Chemist) and TekhnoDom (House of Technology) clubs opened in Chernigovka school of the Svobodnensky district with the support of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (investor, owner, and operator of the Amur GPP). Employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk also presented the students with kits for training in traffic rules and administering first aid at the school clubs. This event was attended by representatives of the public education authorities of the Svobodnensky district and the Amur GPP owner.

The Yuny Khimik members showed an experimental measurement of the soil acidity on the school grounds by using new lab equipment and determined the area that needs deoxidation. The TekhnoDom members demonstrated their skills in programming and developing robot prototypes with the new kit.

«These are very advantageous and necessary skills in life. The students seek not just to master the school curriculum, but also to gain extra knowledge, and they do this in a genuine manner. I am confident that a lot of them will enter dedicated universities and colleges in order to get a job at the Amur GPP, a high-tech enterprise. And it pleases me to see that attentive and soulful attitude of the teachers in relation to their students and genuine desire of the students to study,» said Sergey Marshansky, Deputy Director General of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.

«We would like to thank Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk for their support. This is not just financial aid, but also new opportunities for the students to gain better education and career guidance,» said Tatyana Kuzminykh, Deputy Head of the Education Department in the Administration of the Svobodnensky district.

Besides, the students demonstrated their skills in a mobile traffic park that has wireless traffic lights, sets of traffic signs and road simulator. They also showed their first aid skills on an artificial respiration simulator.
