The Russian Federation is among the world leaders in terms of its helium reserves. Large-scale domestic production of helium is mainly provided by two enterprises of Gazprom: the Orenburg helium plant and the Amur Gas Processing Plant.

Thanks to the assistance from Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, the equipment in the biology, chemistry, physics and computer science classrooms has been updated, a robotics club has opened, and sports equipment has been purchased in the recent years of partnership with Yukhta school.

Individual tests and cold runs of the electric motors at the main gas separation unit have been completed. Individual tests of the standby diesel power plants of line 4 are nearing completion. They ensure power supply to the plant in case of any power outages in the regional grid.

Irina Matrenina, Chief Specialist of the Financial Management Department, won the first place. Department of the Chief Power Engineer won two prizes: Leonid Zakusov, division head, took the third place, while his deputy Dmitrii Matrenin took the second. Elena Lobanova, chemical analysis laboratory assistant at the Amur GPP, took another bronze.

The company (investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP) placed plastic lid collection boxes in its administrative buildings. The company's workers can fill the boxes with used plastic until mid-May, and then the lids will be sent for recycling.
