Yuri Lebedev, General Director of the company, visited the open lessons today. Ninth-grade students demonstrated chemical experiments and performed practical work using an electron microscope. Seventh graders conducted research for calculating the average speed of uneven movement using the sets of physics equipment. Eight-grade students showed how they are mastering the assembly of robotics with the help of modern designer kits.

Over 100 students took advices regarding employment and internship at the Amur GPP exhibition, and around 30 students filled out the Amur GPP questionaries.

For the moment the system is subject to loop testing, which is usually performed prior to functional tests. During the works around 3200 signal loops are going to be tested. The tests involve around 40 various specialists of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, the owner of Amur GPP, NIPIGAS, the general contractor of Amur GPP, equipment vendors and other experts.

The section of the road near the Amur GPP site is known for its intense traffic, so that it was decided to add a yellow stripe to increase the visibility of road marking during winter time and to decrease the possibility of accidents.

REP Holding will perform routine and extraordinary maintenance of these units, provide technical support, perform remote monitoring of equipment state and provide spare parts. Maintenance contract is envisaged for 10 years or 72 thousand hours of peration.

It was the third and the last heat exchanger to be installed at Amur GPP (one heat exchanger for each helium unit). Mass of single heat exchager — around 50 tons, length — 16 m, diameter — 1.8 m, heat capacity — 8.5 MW.

The Amur GPP exhibit attracts a lot of attention. Being one of the largest gas processing plants in the world and the first gas processing plant on the Far East of Russia, Amur GPP exhibit attracts industry experts, foreign guests, students and local visitors.

The first and second process lines of the Amur Gas Processing Plant have been put into operation. The first helium extraction, liquefaction and loading unit with a capacity of 20 million cubic meters of helium per year has been put into operation. Shipment of helium from the Amur Gas Processing Plant to the world's largest helium hub of Gazprom in Vladivostok has commenced.
