Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk — participant of the Saint-Petersburg International Gas Forum

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, Amur GPP investor, owner and operator participates in Saint-Petersburg International Gas Forum. The GPPB exhibit booth was opened as part of Gazprom processing localization exhibition of Gazprom Pererabotka LLC.

The Amur GPP exhibit attracts a lot of attention. Being one of the largest gas processing plants in the world and the first gas processing plant on the Far East of Russia, Amur GPP exhibit attracts industry experts, foreign guests, students and local visitors. The exhibit is equipped with VR-system, so that all of them can have a virtual tour on the Amur GPP, not mentioning the reference materials and footages of the project implementation. All the information materials are available both in Russian and English.

Background

The Amur GPP is going to be one of the largest gas processing plants in the world, thanks to its annual capacity of 42 bln cubic meters of gas. The plant will produce, being under full load, annually around 2.4 mln tons of ethane, 1.5 mln tons of LPG, 200 thous. tons of pentane-hexane fraction, and 60 mln cubic meters of helium, which is quite a demanded element for advanced industrial plants. The main consumer of ethane and LPG from the Amur GPP is going to be Amur Gas Chemical Complex (a joint project of SIBUR and Sinopec).

For the moment, first two trains of the Amur GPP and first helium purification, liquefaction and loading unit are in operation.

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (part of Gazprom Group) is the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP project. Construction management is performed by NIPIGAS JSC.
