Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk employees receive their certificates
Amur GPP held the ceremony for awarding its employees with their young professional certificates on the eve of the New Year in Svobodny. Twenty-nine employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk acting as Amur GPP investor, owner and operator received their diplomas.
«Young professional work in different departments of the Amur GPP, and professional development and gaining experience are important objectives for them. The company's management-for its part-is willing to support the young people, especially considering the fact that the new modern-day plant provides all the opportunities to become advanced professionals,» said Aleksei Kuptsov, Head of the Department for Personnel Recruitment, Adaptation, Development and Welfare at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
A council of young scientists and professionals exists at the plant, and participation in it allows the employees to show their worth in research and innovation activities and social life of the company.
«Many people dream of employment at the Amur GPP. It is prestigious. I am very lucky and proud to be here,» says Denis Ponomarchuk, category 4 operator of process units and Amur Technical College graduate.
Young professionals are provided with opportunities for their promotion to the succession pool. Those who come to work at the new plant consider it as a successful career start.
«I have always been interested in chemistry and graduated from Amur State University with a degree in chemical technology. I even took first place in the WorldSkills competition in the chemical laboratory analysis skill and became a company's supported student. This is why my decision to work at the Amur GPP was conscious and obvious,» says Pavel Odorodko, category 4 operator of process units.
Many young professionals got their job at the Amur GPP after graduating from the company's partner educational institutions line Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Kazan National Research Technological University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Far Eastern Federal University, Amur State University, and Amur Technical College.
«I am glad that I have returned to the Amur region for the Amur GPP. The team is young, active, and I really like it. I have been working here for five months now,» says Elizaveta Ponizova, an Amur region resident, student supported by Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC, a graduate of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, now a category 4 chemical analysis laboratory assistant.
The company pays special attention to working with young professionals. It focuses on employing and retaining young personnel at the Amur GPP.
«I learned about the Amur GPP while studying at the Far Eastern Federal University, majoring in oil and gas engineering. My friends who dreamed of getting to work here were talking about the project. I completed my internship at the plant during my junior year. I immersed myself in my work and realized that I wanted to work at this particular plant even more. And I have been working here for four months now. I am happy to be a member of Amur GPP team,» says Evgenii Nazarchuk, category 4 locksmith of the compressor equipment repair unit in the maintenance and repair workshop.
Fifty employees have already received their young professional status at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk.
