Amur GPP hosts New Year's Eve charity fair

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk employees took part in a charity fair to help children in Svobodny. This event was held in the plant administration building of the Amur GPP. Everyone could buy handicrafts made by children with disabilities and their parents of the association We Are Together, pupils of the Svobodny correctional orphanage and the social shelter, and children of the Svobodnensky district.

«Holding a charity fair on New Year's Eve has become a good tradition. Craftsmen, children and their parents have put their hearts into their handicrafts, hopefulness for the best, and expectation of understanding and kindness. All the funds raised will go to help families with disabled children, as well as children who find themselves in a difficult life situation,» said Sergey Marshansky, Deputy Director General for Human Resources at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.

For the first time this year, craftsmen from Blagoveshchensk, Raychikhinsk, Zavitinsk and other settlements of the Amur Region, and even from Khabarovsk Krai joined the event. They donated their crafts to the fair to help children in Svobodny.

«It is thanks to the fair and other joint campaigns that the children have a new opportunity for socialization. We are able to travel outside the town and take part in various events, and we are grateful to the employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk for their help,» said Natalya Mironenko, the head of parents community of disabled children.

The employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP) have managed to collect more than 250,000 rubles during the New Year's Eve charity fair. The proceeds will be transferred to the Svobodny orphanage, the social shelter, and to the association We Are Together of parents community with disabled children.
