Yuri Lebedev became the main guest and speaker of the science discussion on the topic of the gas processing and petrochemistry processes held in #OtkrytayaNauka lecture room at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum

Yuri Lebedev, head of PJSC Gazprom Department and Director General of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC, became the main guest and speaker of the science discussion on the topic of the gas processing and petrochemistry processes held in #OtkrytayaNauka lecture room at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. During his speech, he outlined the strategy and tactical tasks of the entire Gazprom gas processing complex for the coming years.

«Implementation of Gazprom's megaprojects in the field of gas processing is in full swing. However, new plans to create low-tonnage gas chemical plants that will create products of even more advanced conversion that are in demand in our economy are being developed. This includes valuable inert gases, new construction and new polymer materials, odorants, and much more. These projects have already been developed in terms of their process. We are now making every effort to translate ideas into something tangible, that is, to establish their production. We are doing this together with Russian machine builders. Today's forum is mostly dedicated to this,» Mr Lebedev said.

The discussion was attended by the heads of Gazprom's R&D and design departments, industry professionals, and young scientists.

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk acts as an investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP. 2.4 million tons of ethane, 1.5 million tons of liquefied petroleum gases (propane and butane), 200 thousand tons of pentane and hexane fraction, 60 million cubic meters of helium will be produced at the Amur GPP annually at full capacity.
