Modern chemical laboratory created at Amur State University with assistance from Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC
Amur State University in Blagoveshchensk hosted the opening of a modern training laboratory in the field of chemical processes and equipment today. Eight units simulating the processes in a real production environment were purchased and installed under the guidance and with financial assistance from Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.

«Laboratory equipment will help train highly qualified professionals for the Amur Gas Processing Plant. We are extremely interested in hiring local personnel. It is for this reason that our company has been implementing comprehensive company-backed training of young professionals since 2015: from school to university with subsequent employment at the Amur Gas Processing Plant,» Yuri Lebedev, General Director of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC, said at the presentation of the laboratory.

With this laboratory equipment, the university now has a modern material foundation for training professionals in the field of chemical processes, and the Amur Gas Processing Plant has qualified professionals from among our graduates,» Andrey Plutenko, rector of Amur State University, explains.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk and Amur State University have a long-term cooperation. In 2015, a dedicated auditorium and laboratory for the Faculty of Engineering and Physics were equipped at the university at the expense of the company. A year later, the first group of students in the field of chemical processes enrolled at the university with the support of the gas company. In 2017, Amur State University obtained the status of the key partner of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC. In 2018, the company and the university signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of provision of labor resources, including the student internships.
