Gazprom class students in Svobodny meet Amur GPP professions
Gazprom class in Svobodny school 1 hosted an unusual homeroom. Young employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP) told the students about their work at the Amur GPP.
Daria Befus, a laboratory assistant at the environmental analytical laboratory, explained to the students how atmospheric air is monitored in the sanitary protection area of the plant, for what purpose the laboratory assistant has to leave the workplace and go to the riverbank with equipment, how safety of industrial wastewater of the plant is ensured. Ilya Lugovskoy, an instrument operator of the automated process control department, told the students in detail of the state-of-the-art process control systems at the plant. The staff also shared their experience in education and employment.
«The topical homeroom was part of the One Day at the Workplace project. We would like to help our sponsored students make their own decision about their future profession. Our company is interested in training young professionals to work at the Amur GPP. Dozens of the recent Gazprom class graduates have already become company's supported students and having their on-the-job-training at the Amur GPP,» said Olga Zakurdaeva, Head of the Training and Development Department of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
