Svobodny kids explore Amur Region's history and culture with company support

Children with special needs and children from large families from Svobodny have recently visited the Kucherov carpentry workshop. It is located in Krasnoyarovo Village and about fifty kilometers from Svobodny. The Kucherov dynasty is renowned for their expertise in carpentry in the Amur Region. Craftsmen told the children about Russian woodworking traditions by demonstrating the entire process: from selecting local wood to completing woodwork. Each child has carved a wooden vase as a souvenir.

V Gostyakh U Skazki campsite was the last place on the sightseeing itinerary. There are peculiar houses, bizarre gazebos and hand-carved figures made of wood. The children were delighted by fishing on the lake and gatherings around the campfire.

The tours, which help to learn more about the history and culture of the Amur Region, were organized by the Lada multiservice centre in Svobodny with the financial support of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP).
