School No. 5 opens a media workshop for children with disabilities thanks to Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk in Svobodny

A media workshop opened in school No. 5 in Svobodny with support of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk. It is designed for the social adaptation and development of children with disabilities. The opening ceremony on June 7 was attended by Vladimir Konstantinov, the head of Svobodny, and Andrey Belousov, Deputy Director General of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk. The company purchased professional photo and video hardware and equipped the studio with necessary devices, including lights, microphones and many others. The children with disabilities are able to get the skills of photo and video shooting, editing, TV broadcasts and working with media content.

«Our student took the initiative in a school TV project. It was very difficult to train the children to create high-quality content without special equipment. Now we have a chance to bring all our ideas to life, and we are grateful to Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk for this help,» said Anna Shipilova, Director of school No. 5 of Svobodny.

School No. 5 of Svobodny is a platform for inclusive education and development of children with disabilities. The media workshop is being used as a specialized session of a children's summer camp, and it will work as a permanent studio of extracurricular activities in the next school year.

«We are implementing many projects for the development of children. I always attend opening ceremonies and see how happy children are. I am confident that the media workshop is essential to giving children worthy impetus in order to set them in motion to their development. Undoubtedly, you will successfully learn how to use all the equipment, because you came up with this project yourself,» said Andrey Belousov, Deputy Director General of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk.

In addition to the media workshop for children with disabilities, there are two other projects that started earlier: the School Television study group and the 5 School media center. These projects are also implemented in the updated creative space of the school. Seventy-five children of all ages, including the disabled children, will be engaged here in the next school year in Svobodny.
