Eleven students of Gubkin University have passed the on-the-job training at Amur GPP

Eleven students of Gubkin University have passed the on-the-job training at Amur GPP. During the last month, they’ve been working on the first train of the plant and in central laboratory. Students have studied the low-temperature processes and operation of cryogenic equipment for liquefaction and extraction of helium, methane and other hydrocarbon gases.

Background

In October 2018, Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC, Gubkin University and Amur State University have concluded a three-party agreement on cooperation regarding employment at Amur GPP.

Amur GPP is going to be one of the largest natural gas processing plants in the world with its annual capacity of 42 bln cubic meters of gas. Products of the plant include, besides the purified methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane-hexane fraction and helium.

First train of the plant was put into operation in June 9, 2021.

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (a part of Gazprom Group) is the owner and the investor of the Amur GPP construction project. Construction is managed by NIPIGAZ JSC.
