«Now, the first start-up complex of the Amur Gas Processing Plant is in full swing, and commissioning works are underway. They involve the most experienced professionals from Gazprom plants from all over the country. The process equipment is checked and adjusted before operating with process media. «The most vivid impression from my trip to the Amur region is the Amur Gas Processing Plant. They are, of course, doing a great job. It was of course not my first time there, but the pace at which this technological location is growing is impressive. A huge amount of investment, a huge and well-coordinated work of people, and most importantly, it only commands respect that they move without disrupting the schedule. Despite the pandemic, they do not complain about anyone or anything, they work at the construction site with 35 thousand people, and everything is done on time. This, of course, inspires respect. And the potential of the gas processing plant is a huge contribution to the Russian economy and the economy of the Amur region,» Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation — Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, shared his impressions after the visit.

The Amur Gas Processing Plant will extract valuable components for the gas chemical and other industries: helium, ethane, propane, butane, and pentane and hexane fraction, from the natural gas of the Yakutia and Irkutsk gas production centers supplied via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. The processed gas will be delivered to China. More than 30 thousand people are involved in the construction of the plant; after it is put into operation, about 2,500 jobs will be created at the plat. The overall progress in construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant in early March was 72.8%.
