Today, a computer science classroom for children with disabilities was opened at school No. 5 in Svobodny under the sponsorship of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC. As a part of the charity program implementation, Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk applied funds towards the school to purchase laptops, as well as create a local network in the educational institution.

Currently, the school has 116 children with musculoskeletal system disorders, mental retardation, and autism spectrum disorders.

In addition, the classroom will allow to implement a propaedeutic course for students of 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th correctional classes, — underlined the Director of school No. 5, Anna Shipilova. „The charitable assistance provided by Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk turned out very relevant, timely and substantial.“
In 2020, Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk allocated more than 21 million rubles for charitable projects. Contractors involved in construction of Amur Gas Processing Plant also provide extensive social assistance to the town and the district.

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (part of the Gazprom Group) is the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP construction project. Amur GPP will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants. Its design capacity amount to 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The plant will consist of six production lines, with the first two planned to be commissioned in 2021. In addition to the purified methane fraction, the GPP commercial products will include ethane, propane, butane, pentane and hexane fraction, and helium.
