Cargo delivery to Amur Gas Processing Plant has been completed within the navigation of 2020

The last batch of large-sized equipment planned for construction of Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP) has been delivered within 2020 navigation period. Adsorbers designed for raw gas dehydration and purification units of the 5th process line of the Plant have been delivered at the temporary berth of the Project on the river Zeya.
Each similar unit includes five adsorbers. They allow dehydration and removal of impurities from the feed gas that will be supplied to Amur GPP. This is necessary to increase the efficiency of the gas separation process at extra-low temperatures.

During the navigation of 2020, which lasted from the beginning of June to the end of August, 50 units of large-sized heavy cargo with a total weight of about 8 thousand tons were delivered to the Russian port De-Kastri from abroad by three sea vessels. After reloading on 13 barge-towing boats, LSHC was sent along Amur and Zeya to the temporary berth of Amur GPP. During preparation for transportation the works have been done to ensure safe navigation on the River Zeya, including dredging along the route of ships.
The 2020 navigation plan is fully complete.

Справка

Amur GPP will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants. Its design capacity amount to 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The plant will consist of six production lines, with the first two planned to be commissioned in 2021. In addition to methane, the GPP commercial products will include ethane, propane, butane, pentane and hexane fraction, and helium.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of the Amur Gas Processing Plant project. Construction is managed by NIPIGAS JSC, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management.
