Amur GPP awards best drivers in the project

The Amur GPP hosted a traditional competition of professional skills among the drivers involved in the project. Fourteen participants from Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, Velesstroy, Yamata, Servis-Integrator UT and Avtospetsstroy have contested for the best this year. Three types of the competition included passenger car driver, loader driver and bus driver.


At the first stage, the drivers solved 20 theoretical tasks on road traffic rules for a limited time. At the second stage, the passenger car drivers and bus drivers contested in the skill of parallel parking in reverse, backing into a perpendicular park, U-turning in a limited space, cone weave driving and driving through a narrow tunnel. The loader drivers also showed exquisite bucket handling skills. They threw a ball into the basket, rearranged a wooden bar from one place to another, closed a match box avoiding its damage, and pressed a nail into aboard trying not to bend it.


«The main objectives of the competition are to improve the drivers» professional skills, increase knowledge level of road traffic rules, promote defensive driving. Colleagues look up to the winners and improve their skills, resulting in safe driver behaviour at the project," said Denis Novozhenov, competition host from the Amur GPP project management office.


Kakhramon Niyozov from Servis-Integrator UT took the first place, Aleksey Lenchenkov from Velesstroy took the second place, and Sergey Petrovets from Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk took the third place in the best passenger driver category. Sergey Shley from Velesstroy took the first place, Kurbonali Nematov from Avtospetsstroy took the second place, and Davronbek Satvoldiev from Yamata took the third place in the best loader driver category. Sergey Vereshchak from Velesstroy took the first place, Dmitriy Fedorov from Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk took the second place, and Israilzhon Meraliev form Servis-Integrator UT took the third place in the best bus driver category.


All winners were awarded with commemorative prizes.
