Amur GPP offers career guidance for Gazprom class students in Svobodny

Before their farewell bell, the students of the Gazprom sponsored class of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk visited the Amur GPP. The eleventh graders not only looked at how the plant construction site has changed in recent months, but also visited the central plant laboratory, one of its key units.

There, the graduates learned how and why chemical engineers assess feed gas parameters, control product quality and perform intermediate control of the process. In addition, the students conducted their own test of acidity of the medium and determined its water hardness in the laboratory.

Professions at the Amur GPP were also presented at the school for the Gazprom class students. Dmitrii Klevtsov, a representative of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists and a category I process engineer, addressed the students. He spoke in detail about his own and other professions, career prospects, structure of the production units at the Amur GPP, as well as composition, goals and objectives of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists.

The first ever Gazprom class in the Amur region opened on September 1, 2017, at school 1 in Svobodny. It was established by Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk acting as the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP.
