Gas industry workers present new multimedia equipment to children of Svobodny correctional boarding school
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP) continues to provide charity to the Svobodny correctional boarding school. Assembly hall of the school is now equipped with a wide-screen TV, a projector and a modern laptop with the company's funds.
It would be no exaggeration to call this assembly hall the «heart» of the boarding school. The children spend a lot of time with their teachers here. School-wide and classroom events, conferences, creative team activities and watching films with audio description services (a succinct description of objects, appearances and activities that help for persons who are blind) are held in this assembly hall.
«The big screen is extremely necessary for us, since we teach visually impaired children. The teachers and the children are very happy, and they have even more opportunities for development and learning now,» says Olga Nikolaeva, director of the Svobodny correctional boarding school.
