Overall progress of the Amur GPP project reached 74.6% in March 2021

Insulation of the equipment is completed at the gas separation unit of process line 1. Cold box is being filled with perlite. Installation of steel structures on process line 4 continues. A rack is being erected on process line 5 for installation of large-sized equipment in the summer of 2021.


The first pair of gas pumping units (GPU) Ladoga-32 is ready for cold start. Additional leak tests are being carried out at the feed gas drying and treatment unit 1. Oil pumping of the main air and nitrogen compressors was performed at the nitrogen and air station. Tests of the measuring pipeline, electrical equipment and electrical cable were carried out at the feed gas metering stations. Three flare stacks were lifted and trail ignition was performed on the first stack. Central operator room is now supplied with electricity according to the permanent mode.
Filling of all 6 reservoirs with water is completed at the construction site of the water treatment facilities.

Background

Amur Gas Processing Plant of PJSC Gazprom will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing sites with a capacity of 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. Its commercial products will include purified methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane and hexane fraction, and helium. Investor and owner of the Amur Gas Processing Plant construction project is Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (part of the Gazprom Group). Construction is managed by NIPIGAS JSC, a leading Russian center for design, supply, logistics and construction management.
