Robotics club opened in the Yukhta rural school with the support of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk

A robotics club has opened in the Yukhta secondary school today. Educational and guidance complex for classes was presented to the educational institution by Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk. The complex includes such sets as «Technology and fundamentals of mechanics» for teaching children the basics of physical activity and the work of mechanisms with motors and levers. The «Space Projects» set is an imitation of a trip to Mars, allows one to gain skills in construction of complex robotic objects in a playful way. The complex also includes other multifunctional sets that will allow students of the village of Yukhta, as well as nearby villages, to gain practical skills in robotics, programming, computer science, and physics. Students will be able to test robots and conduct experiments.

«This is the most important task is to help the development and training of the guys who will replace us. Programming robots teaches us to solve non-standard problems; the students will work with quite complex mechanisms, and this will undoubtedly be useful to them. And collective technical creativity will teach one to work in a team,» says Andrey Belousov, Deputy General Director for General Affairs at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.

«Robotics classes help to develop mathematical logic; here one is not afraid to make mistakes and boldly implement ideas. Children become more courageous and enthusiastic. We have already started studying, and the full-fledged work of our robotics club for students of grades 4–6 will begin with the new school year,» says Irina Tsemenya, Head of Yukhta school.
