Employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk supported the Clean Town campaign in Svobodny

April 23, 2021 00:00The territory of water sources (spring PMK-11) in Zalineyny microdistrict of the town of Svobodny is a traditional point of spring clean-up for the company employees. This year, the cleaning area was expanded by collecting garbage from the river bank along the road towards the springs. The result of the clean-up effort is 20 bags of garbage.

45 employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC participated in the clean-up. This year, the environmental campaign on the territory of water sources was actively supported by the participants of GROM town search and rescue team. Free garbage collection was organized by the administration of the town of Svobodny.

«Two natural water sources in the area of the Bolshaya Pyora river were taken under the care of the construction workers of the Amur Gas Processing Plant back in 2017, the Year of Environment in Russia. In 2017, as many as 110 bags of garbage were collected on the territory of the springs, and this area is becoming cleaner gradually,» says Oleg Nosov, head of the Environmental Department of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
