Installation of raw gas dehydration and purification unit at Amur GPP 5th process line has been completed
Raw gas dehydration and purification equipment (adsorbers) has been installed at Amur GPP 5th process line. Five adsorbers will remove moisture and impurities from the natural gas getting to the Plant. This is an important part of the gas extraction process, which is carried out at extra-low temperatures.
At the same time, the installation of five more adsorbers started at the last of the six process lines of Amur GPP.
Adsorbers for the fifth and sixth lines of the Amur Gas Processing Plant became the final batch of large-capacity equipment, which was delivered to the Project construction site within 2020 navigation period. The length of each equipment is 16.5 m, its weight is about 230 tons.
Справка
Amur GPP will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants. Its design capacity amount to 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The plant will consist of six production lines, with the first two planned to be commissioned in 2021. In addition to methane, the GPP commercial products will include ethane, propane, butane, pentane and hexane fraction, and helium.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of the Amur Gas Processing Plant project. Construction is managed by NIPIGAS JSC, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management (part of SIBUR Group).
