Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk takes part in Sports Contest in Svobodny
The company's workers took part in the Sports Contest among workforces for the first time in Svobodny. Sports competition started the day before in one of the weightlifting halls, where five weightlifting teams faced off.
In the weight class up to 85 kg, Ivan Sedunkov placed first with Grigoriy Shmakov placing second. In the weight class up to 75 kg, Andrey Vaganov placed second. The company's workers placed second in the team scoring.
The Sports Contest is going to be last until the end of spring, including 10 athletic disciplines: draughts, table tennis, bullet shooting, chess, swimming, volleyball, indoor soccer, basketball, and running.
The upcoming stage of the contest will be a draughts tournament at Ocean sports centre built with Gazprom participation through Gazprom for Children programme. The Sports Contest is going to be closed in May, when the track and field teams will take part in the relay dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
