200 job seekers attend Amur GPP job fair in Angarsk held by Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk HR
Another meeting with potential Amur GPP employees was held today in Angarsk of Irkutsk region. Representatives of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP) held the job fair together with the local center of employment.
The event took place in the Sovremennik Community Center and about 200 job seekers attended this event. Among them are the residents of both Angarsk and the neighboring Irkutsk and Usolye-Sibirskoye.
«Job fairs are a successful form of communication with job seekers. Potential employees have the chance to get an advice on open positions and employment conditions of the Amur GPP directly from the staff of the HR Department as well as immediately be interviewed by the representatives of the process divisions. We have the chance to directly select the professionals we need. And we presented the open positions for the main production and service divisions in Angarsk. Questionnaires for employment at the Amur GPP were filled out by 163 job seekers, and this is a great result,» explained Nikolay Chulkov, Head of the HR Department at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
The job seekers from Angarsk showed the most interest in the following open positions: process unit operator, pump and compressor operator, repair man, instrument operator, and laboratory assistant.
Hiring of operating personnel at the Amur GPP is underway. All employees are provided with comfortable corporate housing when they move to Svobodny. A new residential district for 5,000 people as well as all the necessary social infrastructure are being built for the Amur GPP operating personnel: a school, a day care facility, a sports hall, an art and culture centers, shops, and other household spots. The Amur GPP employees and their family members get compensation and relocation allowance when they move to Svobodny.
