8th Gas compressor units (GCU) «Ladoga» has been delivered to Amur GPP site

8th Gas compressor units (GCU) «Ladoga» has been delivered to Amur gas processing plant. Now it is being installed at 4th process line.
(GCU) «Ladoga» is the key element of all six booster compressor stations. Two such units are installed on each of them. After extracting valuable fractions from the raw gas for further processing in Russia, GCU Ladoga will compress the purified methane for further supply along the Eastern route.

Gas compressor units reliably operate at low temperatures and seismicity up to eight scores. High-tech GCU manufactured at one of the largest power engineering enterprises in Russia which is «REP Holding» JSC (Saint-Petersburg). A multi-ton cargo runs more than 8 thousand kilometers to Amur GPP site in special railway containers where a constant temperature of +5°C is maintained during the entire way.

Справка

Gazprom's Amur gas Processing Plant will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants with a capacity of 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The plant will consist of six process lines, with the first two planned to be commissioned in 2021. In addition to purified methane, the GPP commercial products will include ethane, propane, butane, pentane and hexane fraction, and helium.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of the Amur Gas Processing Plant project. Construction is managed by NIPIGAS JSC, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management.
