Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk specialists will take part in training of graduates from Amur State University

Yuri Lebedev, General Director of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, and Andrey Plutenko, President of Amur leading university discussed the priority tasks to improve the training process in the Amur State University (AmSU) during the business meeting. Yuri Lebedev also familiarized in detail with the material, technical and laboratory facilities of the educational institution, visited the Scientific and Educational Center created jointly with Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.


«Creating a modern gas chemical cluster in Amur Region, it is required to establish a progressive educational one,» said Yuri Lebedev, General Director of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk. «Today we discussed the formats of work with students who study oil and gas processing technologies, outlined how to strengthen the laboratory base for developing processes and skills to work with the equipment used in chemical technology.»
Today's visit of gas company director took place within the trilateral agreement on cooperation in terms of providing labor resources for Amur Gas Processing Plant, concluded in autumn 2018 between Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, The National University of Oil and Gas «Gubkin University» and AmSU.
«It is important for us to hear firsthand from a key employer what requirements will be imposed on our graduates. The tasks set for young specialists by the management of the largest gas processing plant in the country, we will work out with students in specific laboratory classes during the educational process, when writing term papers and theses,» explained Andrey Plutenko, the President of AmSU. We are ready to involve a highly qualified specialists who work at AGPP into the educational process. The gas industry will be proud of Amur region residents."
Since the beginning of 2019, Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk has been recruiting personnel for the main production site of the Amur Gas Processing Plant to participate in the commissioning. After the plant reaches its design capacity, about 2500 employees will work at the production site.

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (part of the Gazprom Group) is the investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP construction project.
Amur GPP will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants. Its design capacity amount to 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The plant will consist of six production lines, with the first two planned to be commissioned in 2021. In addition to the purified methane fraction, the GPP commercial products will include ethane, propane, butane, pentane and hexane fraction, and helium.
