Companies involved in construction of the Amur GPP provide assistance to flood victims in the Amur Region

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC and its contractors involved in construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP) provide assistance to the flood victims in the Amur Region. Half a dozen units of heavy equipment, dump trucks and loaders have been in operation for almost a week on the dams and other fortifications.

Buses of the companies involved in construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant helped transport the people delivered by air from the flooded areas for temporary accommodation in the town of Svobodny. About 300 children were also evacuated from the holiday camp in Bardagon in the flood zone.

Necessary household appliances are being delivered to the temporary accommodation of the victims like refrigerators, TV sets, water heaters, irons, ironing boards, microwave ovens, and kettles. Those affected by the flood alos receive sets of bed linen, towels, cleaning products, food, baby food and hygiene products.

Gazprom's Amur Gas Processing Plant will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants. Its design capacity will amount to 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. GPP will also include the world's largest production of helium — up to 60 million cubic meters per year. The Amur Gas Processing Plant is an important link in the process chain of natural gas supply to China via the Eastern route. The plant will receive the multi-component feed gas from Power of Siberia gas pipeline from the Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centres currently built by Gazprom with its Eastern Gas Program.

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of Amur Gas Processing Plant project. Construction is managed by NIPIGAS, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management (member of SIBUR Group).

Peak time for construction will be in 2019 to 2020 when over 25,000 workers will be mobilized to the site.
