Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC employees joined the community cleanup campaign in Svobodny
On June 14, the employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC together with the employees of the contractors engaged in construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant, took part in the town-wide community cleanup campaign. A landing party of more than fifty people cleared the beach and the surroundings of the Shestyanka Lake in the linear section of Svobodny. Several trucks with of plastic, glass, cans and bottles, dead wood and other garbage were taken from the territory of the destination popular among Svobodny residents.
«We gladly supported the initiative of the Svobodny administration to restore order at the lake. Each of us collected at least three bags of garbage, some even five! This is our contribution to clean Svobodny,» explained Nadezhda Pavlovich, Chief Specialist of the Environmental Department of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC systematically organizes and conducts conservation efforts. These include community cleanups and environmental education classes in schools. In May 2019, environmental professionals of the Amur GPP together with the city volunteer movement EkoSvoboda launche a campaign called Let's Green the Town Togetdher during which they planted 110 saplings of trees and shrubs.

PJSC Gazprom’s Amur GPP will become Russia’s largest natural gas processing plant and one of the largest plants of this kind in the world. Its design capacity will amount up to 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. GPP will also include the world's largest production of helium — up to 60 million cubic meters per year. The Amur Gas Processing Plant is an important link in the process chain of natural gas supply to China via the Eastern route. The plant will receive the multi-component feed gas from Power of Siberia gas pipeline from the Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centres currently built by Gazprom with its Eastern Gas Program.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of Amur Gas Processing Plant project. Construction is managed by NIPIGAS, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management (member of SIBUR Group). Peak time for construction will be in 2019 to 2020 when over 25,000 workers will be mobilized to the site.
