Employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk office in Svobodny join Green Spring 2019 campaign
The employees of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC took part in the city community cleaning campaign. 50 people cleaned the territory adjacent to the water source in the Severny microdistrict of Svobodny. An 800-meter section near the spring in the area of PMK-111 was cleared of debris. Cleaning in this place is carried out for the third year in a row and has already become traditional.«Initially, we booked a tractor with two trailers, but we managed to do the job with just one: it has become much cleaner. People stopped taking out household garbage and dumping it under bushes. This year, we've put the spring's territory in order in just an hour,» said Evgeny Savvateev, Chief Specialist for Occupational Safety at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC. Three years ago, the cleaning took more than three hours," he said.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk joined the All-Russian Ecological Community Cleaning Event Green Spring 2019 which is held by the non-governmental environmental fund named after V. I. Vernadsky with the support of PJSC Gazprom.
«The people who came to get water thanked us for our work. Residents of the town also began to actively join the community cleaning event: it is noticeable how interest in environmental volunteering is growing, Ekosvoboda campaign launched by the activists of our Public Council involves the younger generation in this process. Last weekend, the children cleaned the area around the art school,» explained Nadezhda Pavlovich, Chief Specialist of the Environmental Protection Department of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk.
Also, six contractors involved in the construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant participated in the city-wide community cleaning event. The construction personnel cleaned up the square on the 40 Let Oktyabrya street.
«This is one of the most important places in the town. Nearby is the Lokomotiv Stadium where many people, including our employees, go to to play sports. „I really want people to take a walk in a clean park after classes, or just get off the bus. With us, the community cleaning event was attended by Yamata Yatirim, Velesstroy, Renaissance Heavy Industries, China Petroleum, Stalker people,“ said the Deputy Head of HSE Department of Tecnimont Russia LLC Andrey Burenkov.

Gazprom’s Amur GPP will become Russia’s largest natural gas processing plant and one of the largest plants of this kind in the world. Its design capacity will amount up to 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. GPP will also include the world's largest production of helium — up to 60 million cubic meters per year. The Amur Gas Processing Plant is an important link in the process chain of natural gas supply to China via the Eastern route. The plant will receive the multi-component feed gas from Power of Siberia gas pipeline from the Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centres currently built by Gazprom with its Eastern Gas Program. Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of Amur Gas Processing Plant project. Construction is managed by NIPIGAS, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management (member of SIBUR Group). Peak time for construction will be in 2019 to 2020 when approximately 25,000 workers will be mobilized to the site.
The All-Russian ecological community cleaning event Green Spring has been held at the initiative of the non-governmental environmental fund named after V. I. Vernadsky and All-Russian Society for Nature Protection since 2014. Dozens of Gazprom subsidiaries are actively participating in the event.
