Background
Amur GPP will become Russia’s largest natural gas processing plant and one of the largest plants globally. Its annual design capacity will be 42 BCMPA of gas. The plant will also include the world’s largest facility for helium recovery with the capacity of up to 60 MCMPA of gas. Germany's Linde AG will provide its process technologies for the plant.
Amur GPP is an important link in the process chain of natural gas supplies to China via the Eastern route. Multi-component gas will be supplied to the Plant via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline from the Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centres, currently developed by Gazprom as a part of its Eastern gas program.
Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of Amur Gas Processing Plant project.
Construction is managed by NIPIGAS, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management (member of SIBUR Group).
Construction peak will be in 2019.
