Amur companies participating in Amur GPP project implementation

Around 30 companies from Amur regions are participating in construction of Amur Gas Processing Plant (Amur GPP) as contractors, subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equipment.

Seven of them are engaged in levelling of Amur GPP main process site, construction of the access motor roads to the plant facilities, construction camp for the construction workers, construction of the power facilities, and regular production environmental monitoring.

Twelve subcontractors perform engineering surveys, build reinforced concrete structures, lay cables and render the construction laboratory services.
Ten companies supply and install materials and equipment for the construction camp.

Involvement of Amur companies into implementation of Amur GPP project is the result of cooperation between Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC, NIPIGAS and Amur regional administration aimed at utilizing the potential of local companies as much as possible. High quality of materials and products, timely supplies and transparent pricing are among the key components of such cooperation.

Background

Amur GPP will become Russia’s largest natural gas processing plant and one of the largest plants globally. Its annual design capacity will be 42 BCMPA of gas. The plant will also include the world’s largest facility for helium recovery with the capacity of up to 60 MCMPA of gas.

Amur GPP is an important link in the process chain of natural gas supplies to China in the Eastern route. The plant will receive the feed multi-component gas from Power of Siberia gas pipeline from the Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centres currently developed by Gazprom with its Eastern gas program.

Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (member of Gazprom Group) is the Investor and Owner of Amur Gas Processing Plant project.

Construction is managed by NIPIGAS, a leading Russian centre for engineering, procurement, logistics and construction management (member of SIBUR Group).
