Bauman Moscow State Technical University students complete internship at Amur GPP

Thirteen students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University have successfully completed their internship at the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP). The undergraduates majoring in refrigerators, cryogenic equipment, air conditioning and life support systems have spent a whole month in order to get acquainted with the process and equipment of the Amur GPP.

In particular, they studied low-temperature processes on the first three process lines of the plant, as well as the operation of the cryogenic equipment used for recovery and liquefaction of helium, methane, and other hydrocarbon gases. Employees of the production units at the plant shared their knowledge and experience with the future engineers.
«Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk has been working with the leading secondary specialized colleges and universities in the country for several years, including the partner universities of PJSC Gazprom. We annually welcome new students for their internship under this cooperation framework. More than thirty such graduates are already working at the Amur GPP. We hope that the best of the students will-upon their graduation-come to work for us as full-time operational personnel,» says Natalia Dubovets, Chief Specialist of the Personnel Development Department at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
Most of the students who have completed their internship major in the areas of training that are in demand at the Amur GPP.
«This is our first time at the Amur GPP. The internship was quickly interesting: we were introduced to the operation of the gas separation units and sales helium production. I am excited about the energy-efficient solutions and design features implemented in the plant design. We have studied the process flow sheets and tried to memorize some useful information,» says Danila Ershov, a freshman of the master's degree program at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
This year, a total of over a hundred students from fourteen colleges and universities from all over the country have completed their internship at the Amur GPP. It is important to note that every fourth intern was provided with a real workplace, which means, the students did not just get acquainted with the process, but actually worked at the plant and received their salary.
