Amur GPP vacancies arise interest at PJSC Gazprom fair in Tatarstan capital

On May 19, 15 companies of the Gazprom Group were presented at the Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU). The KNRTU students met with experienced industrial workers and HR managers of the new plant and were informed about how to get a job with good prospects, a fair wage, and a benefit package in high-tech processing at the booth of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC (investor, owner and operator of the Amur GPP).

The KNRTU is one of the partner universities for the new plant which has a longstanding relationship with this university. Oil and gas processing engineers are trained here. Yuri Lebedev, Director General of the Amur GPP, graduated from that university. The university trains a significant list of young professionals in demand at the new gas processing plant.

«This university has a high level of the project specific training. We are willing to attract the leading professionals of Russia who have obtained a sound academic background to our plant. It is possible to communicate with the students personally at the fair, evaluate their potential and their interest in the profession,» said Maxim Yurkov, a lead engineer for automated process control systems of software and hardware at Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.

The students not only filled out the questionnaires for further employment but also showed their interest in the on-the-job training. «I saw that the Amur GPP was presented at the job fair. This is a modern plant with a high level of automation. I really want to work at this plant because some vacancies in my major are present at this job fair,» said Diana Khalikova, a third-year student of the KNRTU majoring in computer science and engineering.
