Multifunctional sports centre at the Amur GPP site ready to open

Construction of a multifunctional sports centre at the Amur GPP administrative area has been completed.
The building with an area of 540 square meters has a hall with all-purpose covering for various sports.


All spots equipment is mobile and replaceable: basketball rings and football gates, tip-up tennis tables, adjustible wall bars with a complex for strength exercises.
The athletic tracks, exercycles, elliptical trainers, as well as equipment with muscular exercise for weightlifters are installed in separate facilities.
Sports centre has a spacious cloakroom with individual lockers, as well as comfortable showers.
In addition, the sports centre has a training centre with smoke and heat simulation training facility for gas safety professional training.
Employees of the specialized departments can train their skills necessary to work in an emergency. For instance, exercise on an endless ladder, dynamometric exercise machine, as well as special exercise with breath training equipment.
The maze-cage simulates emergency conditions with maximum reliability: smoke generator creates an artificial smoke with noise interference, lighting level is adjusted, tasks are given by sound, video cameras and sensors carefully monitor the execution of the tasks.
Multifunctional sports centre is designed for the Amur GPP employees as a part of the modern social and household infrastructure of the new plant.

Background

Amur GPP is going to be one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants with annual design capacity of 42 BCMA.
2.4 million tons of ethane, 1.5 million tons of liquefied petroleum gases, 200 thousand tons of pentane-hexane fraction, 60 million cubic meters of helium will be produced annually at full load.
