Not only boys, but also 15 girls are members of the club. As coach Vladimir Kuritsyn notes, hockey helps children to be collected and purposeful and gives them real support in life. Children from low-income families are among the young hockey players.
Assistance in development of sports for children is one of the most important areas of charitable activities of companies that are members of Gazprom Group. Last summer, a multifunctional stadium was renovated for schoolchildren in the village of Yukhta under Gazprom for Children program. Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk (investor, owner and operator of the Amur Gas Processing Plant) has repeatedly helped to modernize sports equipment for schools and children's sports clubs in Svobodny and Svobodnensky districts.
