Kazan scientists to take part in development of advanced training programs for Amur GPP operational staff

Representatives of Kazan National Research Technological University management visited the Amur GPP site. The purpose of the meeting was the development of additional programs for advanced training and professional retraining of the staff of the new plant.

University teachers got acquainted with the innovative technologies for processing natural gas, production and liquefaction of helium, visited the Training and Production Center, and met with the management of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
«We visit a lot of factories around the world. And the Amur Gas Processing Plant is really impressive. Both in terms of its scale and modern equipment. I am content that there is a balance between the developments of Russian and foreign designers. It is simply necessary to delegate our best students here: they should be able to work in the leading industries of the world,» Professor Mansur Galikhanov, head of the delegation, director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education of Kazan National Research Technological University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, shared his impressions.

«Visits of the management of the leading universities are necessary. This year, we are launching the first phase of the plant, and it is very important for us to improve our knowledge of the process for managing modern equipment. Naturally, we train our personnel with the help of our contractors and equipment vendors, but the fundamental knowledge of the gas processing technology needs to be improved and consolidated. This is important for safety and efficiency of the process activities,» says Danis Fayruzov, Chief Engineer and First Deputy Director General of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk LLC.
