The last bell rang for the eleventh-graders of Gazprom class of school No. 1 in Svobodny

The last bell rang for the eleventh-graders of Gazprom class of school No. 1 in Svobodny. Heads of Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk came to congratulate the 26 students. Five of the most active students were awarded certificates for 5,000 rubles.

«Your achievements during the academic year are impressive. The school became the leader of the region. There is an important stage ahead: the exams, and I wish you success with those! In the coming days, the students will start the Unified State Exam. The best of them will be able to become Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk sponsored students and continue their studies at the Amur State and Far Eastern Federal Universities, as well as at Gazprom's key universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Tomsk, and Irkutsk.

This is the second graduation of Gazprom class in Svobodny — the first one in the Russian Far East. The initiator of its creation at school No. 1 in Svobodny in 2017 was Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, the owner, investor and operatorof the Amur Gas Processing Plant.

Admission to Gazprom class is on a competitive basis. For two years, the students have been studying physics and mathematics subjects in depth, participating in industry Olympiads and student meetings, competitions of their research projects, and visiting the construction site of the Amur Gas Processing Plant.
